The following horses are available for lease. Both horses will be boarded at
Lone Star Ranch which has an arena as well as a roundpen. Miles of trails
are just up the road from the ranch. To view photos of the facility,
Mihijo is a 15.1h gelding, approximately 15 years old. He is suitable for a
confident beginner. He usually likes to get there kind of quickly
but doesn't buck along the way.
Java is also suitable for a confident beginner. She is 9 years old and
right around 15h. She's rather easy going and usually likes
to take the whole ride at a slow walk.
The lease will include the use of tack as well as the opportunity to
check out library books and/or videos
without paying membership or monthly fees.
To view the books and videos in my library,
I am offering four different monthly lease options
to fit your schedule and budget:
Full lease $350 The horse will be available to you only (as if he/she is your own)
any days and times Lone Star Ranch is "open"
(currently 8am - 9pm daily).
Half-lease $250 The horse will be available to you
three designated days each week
(one weekend day and two weekdays).
Partial weekend lease $175 The horse will be available to you
either Saturday or Sunday each week
(as previously arranged).
Partial weekday lease $125 The horse will be available to you
two designated weekdays each week.
Just show up, groom, saddle up and ride!
Lessons will be available at an additional expense.
Both horses will only be leased out to adults.
Children 13 years old or older may ride
at the ranch only and only under
complete supervision
of at least one parent.
